Animated Life Lessons
In my team there was Kyllie, Zephen and myself. We haven't ever worked together before but these are some character traits that I learned about them. Kyllie is a really cheerful and out going girl that wants to make everyone happy. Zephen is a very serious and not so outgoing guy who thinks that evrything has to be perfect. We exaggerated Kyllies character by making her be the dance instructer that helped cheer me up and helped me with a big issue that I was having. We exaggerated Zephens character by making him the one to put me down about my dancing because it wasn't perfect.
We used humor in our story by making me dance really bad or really sloppy. We also tried to put some humor into how zephen, kyllie and I spoke. We tried to stick in some little inside jokes. So i hope that when everybody watcges this they will laugh reallt hard because we tried really hard to do something that would make the audience laugh.
I think that my teams level of productivity's pretty high when we all worked together. The biggest challenge during this project was probably that some people did ,ore work than others and we got into some arguments. Other than that we didn't really have too many problems. And I'm very very proud and happy about our final product. I think that we did really good!
Music video Finale
P2T4 Price Tag from Kapaa Middle School MEDIA on Vimeo.
Okay so my team and I decided to do the song price tag by Jessie J. This song explains how the world doesn't revolve around money. So for the first part of our video we decide to show us shopping really seriously and we are not very happy. So then after that all of us go on a little break from shopping and we leave our shopping bags and wallets and we go and eat lunch. While we were eating lunch we totally forgot about our shopping bags and all of our money and we are just having a good time. after lunch we walk back to our stuff and then we just leave it because we realized how stressful and time consuming shopping and money is. I think that this story line represents that money isn't important.
My favorite fast editing montage sequence would have to be when I am lip syncing and I say "with your heels so high" and we quickly cut to a close up of me walking in heels so its also like a ants eye shot, and then it cuts back to me lip syncing. Another fast edited montage sequence that I adore would have to be when it cuts to a close up of all of us seriously shopping around and then it cuts to all of us laughing at a lunch table. I think that these two fast editing montage sequences will really make the audience smile or laugh.
I think that this music video project will showcase our best work because it really incorporates pretty much everything that we've learned. Well this project involves filming, obviously, and so that showcases our filming skills and techniques for the year. This music video also requires a photoshop made cover screen and/or end screen, so that shows that we know how to use photoshop. We also need to edit, cut and add to our videos in imovie, so in order to do that we have to know how to use imovie fairly good. I think that my team and I worked the hardest we possibly could on this project to show off all of our skills and I hope that our audience enjoy's it!!
Here is the two minutes of lyrics that we decided to use in the music video:

Here is the two minutes of lyrics that we decided to use in the music video:
Seems like everybody's got a price
I wonder how they sleep at night
When the sale comes first
And the truth comes second
|
Just stop for a minute and smile
|
Why is everybody so serious
Acting so dang mysterious
|
Got shades on your eyes
And your heels so high that you can't even have a good time
|
Everybody look to their left
Everybody look to their right
|
Can you feel that, yeah
We're paying with love tonight
|
It's not about the money money money
We don't need your money money money
|
We just wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag
Ain't about the uh cha-ching cha-ching
|
Ain't about the yeah b-bling b-bling
|
Wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag
We need to take it back in time
|
When music made us all unite
|
And it wasn't low blows and video no’s
|
Am I the only the one getting tired
|
Why is everybody so obsessed
Money can't buy us happiness
|
Can we all slow down and enjoy right now
Guarantee we'll be feeling alright
|
Everybody look to their left
Everybody look to their right
|
Can you feel, yeah
We're paying with love tonight
|
It's not about the money money money
We don't need your money money money
|
We just wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag
Ain't about the uh cha-ching cha-ching
|
Ain't about the yeah b-bling b-bling
|
Wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag
|
Well keep the price tag
And take the cash back
Just give me six strings
And a half stack
And you can, can keep the cars
Leave me the garage
And all I, yes all I need are keys and guitars

Character Development
I think that I am hardworking, and a really easy person to talk to and trust. I am also a person who can do anything if they try and put their mind to it. And lastly I think that I am a very cooperative person and that I am a very easy person to work with. Although I do have some imperfections. One of my imperfections is remembering all of my stuff... like when I go to a friends house or a hotel I forget at least one thing, and I try so hard to get everything.
when I am animating myself I think I will try to add in the fact that I forget about everything and that I always feel like I have short term memory loss. I will do this by animating myself with a unsure voice which represents me being unsure ifI forgot something or not. Also I can could animate myself asking all of the characters questions. One of my other imperfections that i could animate is always being obsessed by the way my hair looks. I could animate this by making my character touch and play with her hair a lot.
We started off the GIF project by taking still pictures of the front, sideways and back positions. We took those pictures of ourselves and started to cut them out in photoshop. After that we had to watch some tutorial videos about how to make use the puppet warp tool and how to complete the rest of the project. Then, we knew what to do so we all got started in making our unique characters move in A GIF. Personally I think that this project was a little challenging at first but once you have practice and you know how to do everything its really easy. Check out my GIF to the right. :))

P2T3 Aunty Solves Bullying from Kapaa Middle School MEDIA on Vimeo.
I think that my key words definitely connect with my audience. One of my multiple key words are forgiveness. This film is about two friends find forgiveness. This will relate to the audience because we all should have the skill of forgiving. Another keyword that we have is advice. The word advice should really connect with our audience because everyone has had one point in their life where they needed advice about what to do or how to solve a problem and that is what the characters in this film will get. Also, another keyword is Insecure because that describes the characters and that should relate to the audience because everyone has felt insecure and in this movie we teach people to overcome that.
The overall message that we are trying to give from this film is to stop bullying and fix it. Also that you are never alone and that you can ask for help from a teacher, student, friend or a relative. We are going to send that message while including some humor too. Another message that we are trying to give out is to not bully in the first place. If we didn't have bullies in this world there would be no big accidents like the 9/11 attack or the pearl harbor bomb. I don't think we expect to solve that big of an issue but we are definitely trying to stop it in our school and on the island of kauai.
One of the challenges that my team and I faced was meeting up together for filming at a convenient place and time, and it had to relate to our story. We solved that problem. We decided to just pick a day weather we had plans or not that we had to film. Another problem that we faced would be doing auditions and picking people that we needed for some extra characters. And lastly, it was a challenge editing and turning in our work "on time".

Tiny Spherical Worlds
Composite photos (or panos) are really important if you are near a very beautiful landscape or surrounding because if you just take one picture it wont be able to capture all of it. Then if you decide to do a composite photo it can see all around you and capture more of the beauty than just one picture. In the making of a composite photo we took ten different pictures that overlap by 10%. Why not just one picture? Well if you only took one picture you wouldn't be able to see what your eyes cant see. A composite picture is a photo is a fantastic way to take a photo, it really lets your eyes see more then normal!
Polar and spherical panos are different but similar in some ways. they are different because a spherical because a polar pano multiple pictures smushed together into one and turned into a circle and it ends up looking like a realistic tiny world. A spherical pano is a different thing. A spherical pano is a bunch of photos smushed together and then turned around so the world or land is surrounding the sky. These two are similar because they most of the steps that are needed are the same. All the steps are the same except when making a spherical pano you skip the step "turn 180 degrees" , thats what gives it the world around the sky effect.
i think that my finished results are convincing in multiple ways! One of the reasons that it is, is because I edited the pictures to look abnormal and a slight bit unusual but still a little bit realistic. Also by putting the pictures into a world shape makes it look like an actual planet or world!! And lastly the viewers of my image will probably look at it and think that I put a lot of work into it, which I did.

Hockney Style Joiners
I think that David Hockney's photomontages and my photomontages are very different. One way that our photomontages are different is that I think mine look more realistic. Another reason is that David Hockney has had a lot more experience and has taken a lot more pictures than me so his images are going to be more advanced than mine.
Images can send any kind of messages. The filter of a picture can even send a message. For example, if I took a picture with a black and white filter it might look mysterious or scary. It also depends on what the picture is of. If the picture is of something happy like a beautiful, vibrant flower it's going to send a positive message. If the flower looks dead and is drooping chances are that it will send off negative messages.
For my photomontage I decided to take a picture of a goal with a super pretty sunset background. Im hoping that my final image will give the audience a positive message. Also that I am a hard working athlete. All of my pictures that I posted on my Google+ look very inspirational and beautiful. So, that is what I tried to do with taking the pictures for the final. I try to make all of my photos show and describe my personality and my hobbies. Hopefully my audience see's that this picture describes me.

2016 ASPIRATIONS
One of my five goals that I will try to accomplish in 2016 is to eat better foods like salad instead of sweets. Another one of my goals is to keep my grades up for the rest of my 7th grade year, so far I haven't gotten a grade lower than a B. Working out and running more is definitely an important goal to accomplish in 2016. I also want to do something good for myself and surf more often in new and different spots. And my last goal is to be more organized in school and out.
My most important goal out of the five would have to be to be more organized in school and out. I think organization was hard for me in 2015 so I definitely want to try to improve. Also its very important for me to be organized at this point in my life because i have a lot going on especially in school. This is very important skill in everyones life so I really hope that this will help me in 2016.
Steps to organization aren't to easy so I am going to have to commit to this. the first step is to clean and organize all of my school work, on computers, in books and in folders. Next step is to organize and clean everything outside of school which would be at home, in the car and in the yard. My last step is to stay organized from then on and keep everything neat and tidy. I really think that this is going to make 2016 a really easy year for me.
